School Annual Day of Infant
Jesus School:-
The 6th Annual Day of Infant Jesus School at
Chikmagalur was held on the 5th of February,
2011. The day began with the invocation of the blessings of
Almighty God. Bro. Frolic Fernandes welcomed the gathering
and all the guests at the dais prayerfully lit the lamp and
inaugurated the function.

the principal of the school read out the lengthy annual
report surprising every one that the school has 354 students
from LKG to Std. IV and informed every one saying the
construction of the 2nd and 3rd floor
of the school building will begin from tomorrow onwards in
order to accommodate the growing number of students next
year. The report further said that the school management is
seriously pondering of starting an orphanage in order to
educate freely the poor and orphan children.
Mr. L. Rangappa, the Deputy
Director of Public Instruction, Fr. Chetan Lobo, the
secretary of CEB, Fr. Joseph Dolphy Pais, the vice president
of CEB, Mr. Joseph Rodricks, the retired Joint Director of
Public Instructions and Mr. Sujindra, the PTA president
spoke highly in appreciation of the school and marveled at
the fast improvement that took place in the school and
congratulated the principal. 59 students who frequented
the school very day securing 100% results were felicitated
along with 8 best students of the year. Fr. Lawrence Dilraj
Sequeira, the vice – principal was present on the dais.
Miss Supriya C S compered the I Part of the programme and
the II part of the programme (cultural) was compered by
Anushik and Diana the students of Std. IV. Miss Pushpalatha
proposed the votes of thanks. The students entertained the
gathering with varieties of cultural programmes
